To create a custom unit in the [**Stock Management**](https://knowledgebase.scinote.net/en/knowledge/stock-management?hsLang=en) column:  1. **[Create](https://knowledgebase.scinote.net/en/knowledge/how-can-i-create-custom-columns?hsLang=en)**[a](https://knowledgebase.scinote.net/en/knowledge/how-can-i-create-custom-columns?hsLang=en)**[stock column.](https://knowledgebase.scinote.net/en/knowledge/how-can-i-create-custom-columns?hsLang=en)** 2. Navigate to the **Stock Units box.** 4. **Highlight** and press the **backspace bar** on your keyboard to delete units. 5. Put your **cursor** behind a unit and **hit enter** on your keyboard to **type a new unit.** 6. Once finished, **click** the **update column** button.
