A task begins at 'Not Started' and ends at 'Completed', or 'Done' if you have the 21 CFR Part 11 add-on for task e-signatures.   [![Task Status Flow](https://knowledgebase.scinote.net/hs-fs/hubfs/Task%20Status%20Flow.png?width=490&height=323&name=Task%20Status%20Flow.png)](https://knowledgebase.scinote.net/hubfs/Task%20Status%20Flow.png?hsLang=en) To progress through the status of a protocol: 1. Navigate to the protocol inside the desired Task. 2. In the upper right corner, locate the Status section and click **Not started**. 3. Once you are ready to move the protocol to 'Completed', clickon the **In progress** button. 5. Choose **Move to - Completed** from the drop-down menu. 6. If you want to change the protocol status back to 'Not Started' clickon **Return to Not started.** If you have the 21 CFR Part 11 add-on, you will have additional statuses.  1. To move the protocol to 'In review', click on the **Completed** button. 2. Choose **Move to - In review** from the drop-down menu. 3. A pop-up will appear, select **Move & Lock.** - You will sign and request signatures at this stage. Select **Move to - Done.** If you'd like for a task to go from 'In review' back to 'Completed', the executed e-signatures first need to be revoked.
