Before reading this article we suggest you read through the article about Task status **[here.](https://knowledgebase.scinote.net/en/knowledge/how-do-i-move-my-task-through-the-different-statuses?hsLang=en)** If you are wondering how to sign a task, you can read more about it **[here](https://knowledgebase.scinote.net/en/knowledge/how-do-i-sign-a-task-in-scinote?hsLang=en)**.  You can **request a signature** for a task once the **task status** has been moved to **'In Review'**.  To request the signature, **follow these steps**: 1. **Click** on the **blue 'Sign task' button** found next to the Task Status. A window will open. **Click** on the **Request signature** button in the bottom right corner. You will then see the signatures you requested. You can **delete a request** by clicking on the **bin icon** next to the signature. Also, you can send an additional reminder for the signature request by clicking on the **bell icon**.
