Yes – you need a role at both the Organization level and one at the Team level. You'll also have access roles for individual Projects within your Team(s).
Each user role in SciNote has a pre-defined set of permissions that affect creating, editing, deleting, viewing, and accessing data in SciNote. There is one role at the Organization Level and a second role at the Team Level. SciNote's two layer structure provides you with the customization you need to grant or limit access – even within institutions, labs, and research groups.
Caution – If your SciNote Dashboard page is grayed out and you cannot access any projects, you likely haven't been added to a SciNote Team yet. Contact your Org Admin to get you added to a Team.
If you would like to learn more about how SciNote is structured and about the two layers of roles in SciNote, please watch our video tutorial.
