In order to support data integrity and traceability, very few elements within SciNote can be deleted - most of them can only be archived.
Whether or not an item can be deleted will also depend on the user role and permission you hold. With this in mind, the following elements can be deleted:
- comments
- tags
- individual protocol steps
- reports
- results (must be archived first)
- inventory items (must be archived first)
- entire inventories (must be archived first)
Nevertheless, the majority of SciNote data can be archived and restored from the Archive at any time. Make a typo? Projects, Experiments, and Task cards can all be re-named.
