We suggest you upload this information into the **Inventories.** They are personalized repositories that allow you to manage laboratory equipment and even assign instruments to a task or workflow. You can even use Projects, Experiments, and Tasks to record your calibration, validation, and PM activities. By creating custom columns, you can include information that is unique to each item, such as the **validation dates** for instruments or **expiration dates** for calibration standards.  Want to be notified when an instrument is due for calibration? You can plan in daily, weekly, or monthly views and create booking events — for usage, calibration, maintenance, or other purposes — directly from the calendar, an inventory item's toolbar, or the Schedule section on an item card. Because it follows the same access and permission settings as your underlying inventory, everyone sees exactly what they're meant to.
