How to Sign In on the App?

You will log in to the mobile app with a dedicated QR code generated by your SciNote account on the web.

To sign in to the SciNote mobile app, you first need to generate a QR code from your SciNote web account, then scan it in the app.

To get the QR code required to sign in to the app:

  1. Log into your SciNote account on the web.
  2. Click on Profile icon in the top right corner.
  3. Select My Profile and find the section Use SciNote on other devices.
  4. Click on the blue + button to generate your QR code.How to Sign In on the App

To sign in on the app:

  1. Open the app.
  2. Click Open camera to scan at the bottom of your screen.
  3. Scan the QR code that was created following the instructions above.
  4. Confirm your identity by clicking Continue.
  5. Select the team you are working in, then click Continue.
  6. You are now signed in to SciNote on your mobile device.

The QR code is single-use and time-sensitive — it expires shortly after generation and is for your use only. If it expires before you scan it, return to your SciNote web profile to generate a new one.
