# How to Filter and Sort Tasks on the App

## You can sort tasks in 5 different ways as well as filter based on 5 different properties.

#### To filter:

1. Navigate to the task section
2. In the top right corner, **select** the **Filter icon ![](https://knowledgebase.scinote.net/hubfs/image-png-Nov-28-2022-07-51-02-1038-PM.png)**
3. You can filter the Projects by:  
     - Projects
     - Experiment
     - Task Status
     - Due Date
     - Members that are assigned to the Task
4. **Tap** **Apply**

**If you would like to sort the tasks,** you can do so by **selecting** the** Sortbutton![Sort](https://knowledgebase.scinote.net/hs-fs/hubfs/Sort.png?width=23&height=20&name=Sort.png)** and choosing one of the options from the drop-down menu:

- Start Date
- Due Date
- Created Date
- Task Name
- Task ID
