No. SciNote is a cloud-based electronic lab notebook hosted on a secure Amazon Cloud. This means you have full access to it through a web browser.

SciNote supports the following browsers:

• Chrome,
• Safari and
• Firefox.

To start using SciNote for free, first create an account and then log in with your email address and password.

If you wish to have SciNote on your local server or a private cloud, we offer that as a part of the SciNote Premium plan .
