How to Update Your SciNote User Account Email and Password

From the 'My Profile' page in your Settings, you are able to makes changes to the email and password associated with your SciNote user account.

  1. First, navigate to the My Profile page using the gear icon (Settings) in the upper right corner of the SciNote site.

  2. In the top section, you can update the Email or Password associated with your SciNote account (for logging in) by clicking Change

  3. Follow the prompts and click Save to finalize changes for your new SciNote user record email and/or password

    2. Save Change Password My Profile

If your organization's SciNote account has Single Sign-on (SSO) set up for user authentication, this process may be slightly different. Some groups disable the option to log in with email/password if SSO is set up, so please reach out to support@scinote.net if you need to update your email in this case.
