[Inventory](https://knowledgebase.scinote.net/en/knowledge/using-scinote?hsLang=en#inventory) # How To Share Inventories with Another Workspace ## Inventories can be shared across SciNote workspaces with view-only or editing permissions. Only **Workspace Owners** can share inventories and manage the visibility/editing permissions of inventories. Follow the steps to share your inventory: 1. Begin by accessing the **Inventories** tab. 2. **Select** the **Inventory(s)** you wish to share by ticking the checkbox.  3. **Click** the **Share** button located at the bottom of the page. 4. In the pop up window, you are able to choose the Workspaces you wish to share your inventory(s) with. Choose the Workspace by **ticking** **the box** next to the workspace(s) name. 5. Decide whether you wish to share your inventory with the selected workspace. Set your permission of **View** **mode** or **Edit mode** by **clicking** the toggle next to each workspace. The third column (**Shared**) shows the sharing status, and the fourth column (**Ownership**) shows the name of the Workspace that owns the Inventory.
