How to Manage Your Tag library?

Tags in SciNote are now global at the workspace level. This means the same set of tags can be used across all tasks, regardless of which project they belong to—ensuring consistency, reducing duplication, and making it easier to organize and filter wo

All tags are now managed centrally within your workspace. This replaces the older project-specific tagging system. Any tag you create or edit is accessible on any task in that workspace.

 

Tidy up your tag list with the new Merge Tags feature. If there are duplicate or similar tags, workspace owners can:

  1. Navigate to the Settings icon ⚙️.
  2. Select Workspaces.
  3. Choose the relevant workspace by clicking on its name.
  4. Click on the tab Tags.
  5. Select all the tags that need to be merged.
  6. On the bottom toolbar, a button will appear - click Merge into.
  7. Select the relevant tag and then Merge.

Only workspace owners can perform this action. Please note that deleting a tag from the central repository will remove it from all tasks where it has been used.
