They are enabled at the workspace level and can be managed by Team Owners. ***Team Owners can enable/disable automations within each workspace.***   Status automations determine how task statuses update in response to specific actions. *For example, when at least one step in a task is marked as completed, the task status will automatically change to **In progress**.* Users can still manually update task statuses at any time, even if automations are active.   Status automations are grouped into three categories: - Task Automations - Experiment Automations - Project Automations ### How to access and manage Status Automations: 1. From the desired workspace, navigate to the Settings icon on the top right. 2. Select the **Automations** tab. 3. Enable or disable available automations as needed from the list. You can manage them independently in each workspace. - **Status transitions are one-way.** Statuses do not automatically revert if the triggering conditions are undone. *For example, unchecking a step marked as completed does not return the task status back to **Not Started**.* - **Automations are not retroactive.** They only apply to actions taken **after activation**.
